When we gave ROOM our first five-star review at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, we has no idea just how well the general response to the film would be. After winning the People’s Choice Award at the festival, the film has gone on to critical and commercial acclaim and is expected to surface throughout the upcoming award season. During the festival we were fortunate enough to speak to director Lenny Abrahamson, writer/author Emma Donoghue, as well as actors Brie Larson and Joan Allen. Here are the results:
