We are working with the leading film distributors The Archive and The Orchard to give away a select number of double passes to the advance screening of Taika Waititi’s HUNT FOR THE WILDERPEOPLE in Vancouver on Monday July 4th at 7PM at International Village, 88 West Pender Street.
Hunt For The Wilderpeople premiered at the Sundance Film Festival this year, and opened theatrically in its native New Zealand breaking all types of records. It now holds the record in New Zealand for the highest grossing locally produced film. The crowd-pleasing film stars Julian Dennison (Shopping) and Sam Neill (Jurassic Park).
“What we do in the shadows” director Taika Waititi was nominated for an Academy Award for his short film Two Cars, One Night and will be directing Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok set to be released next summer and as well as a writer for Disney’s Moana. His two films Boy and Hunt for the Wilderpeople are the two top grossing films in New Zealand.
