Check out the Scene Creek crew rocking the world premiere of The Sapphires at the Grand Lumiere theatre at the 65th Cannes Film Festival. Don’t we look tres sharp? It took us (well, me) about twenty minutes flashing our ‘please invite us to the premiere’ signs to receive two passes! And all I had to do was smile. You gotta love the French!

The Sapphires is basically the Australian version of Dream Girls, minus Beyonce. I’m super excited to jam to this aboriginal band from Australia that was sent to Vietnam in 1968. Who wouldn’t feel the vibe from these soulful girls singing their hearts out during this sensitive moment in history.

This film just got picked up by the Oscar powerhouse that is Harvey Weinstein so we’re definitely expecting a good show! Look out for our review!
