THE SAPPHIRES opens today in Toronto and then expands to Vancouver and Montreal on April 12th then to all the remaining key cities on April 19th.

THE SAPPHIRES had it’s North American Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2012. The movie is based on the stage play ‘The Sapphires’ by Tony Briggs. Inspired by a true story, THE SAPPHIRES is a triumphant celebration of youth, courage, love, family and Soul Music.
