We were quite privileged to have an interview with Rupert Wyatt, director of The Escapist, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and The Gambler, starring Mark Wahlberg. In our discussion, Wyatt linked together his three most recent films in a very surprising way, and provided a sparkling theory provoked by his inclusion of Camus’s The Stranger in his latest film. We could have listened to Wyatt  speak far longer. The Gambler opens on Christmas Day, and is being released by Paramount Pictures.
