In a dystopian future, a pair of young rebel lovers have broken free of an oppressive caste system and look to overtake a totalitarian regime. It’s no easy task for Tris Prior (Shailene Woodley) and her boyfriend Four (Theo James), but they are leading an uprising in Insurgent, the second film in the Divergent franchise.

While they are joined by a cast of wise elders and plucky youngsters to take on Jeanine (Kate Winslet) and her violent regime, a pair of soldiers are on the hunt for Tris and Four. They are the dutiful Max and the malicious Eric played by Mekhi Phifer and Jai Courtney respectively. The two villainous henchmen graced the ‘red’ carpet for the Toronto premiere of Insurgent, offering thoughts on their character’s nefarious ways as well as how the ascent of the young and talented Ms. Woodley.
