Synopsis:
ROLLER TOWN tells the story of three friends in the 1980’s trying to stop a local crime syndicate from turning their beloved roller rink into a video arcade. Leo is a 19-year-old disco roller skating hero in Sherbrooke, Quebec. He’s the hottest guy in town who can have almost any girl he wants, except for Julia – the sister of his roller nemesis, Davis. Beautiful and aloof, Julia is enrolled at the prestigious Roller Skating Academy, where disco is shunned and classical roller skating reigns. If that weren’t bad enough, the Mafia is plotting to have video games and arcades installed everywhere, threatening the future of disco roller skating. The ensuing battle between the power of disco and the power of video games leads to an inevitable, final showdown.
