Synopsis:
In 1935-1936, in Geneva, the seductive Solal (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), who officiates the League of Nations, tries to win the heart of the beautiful Ariane (Natalia Vodianova), a Protestant aristocrat and wife of his subordinate, Adrien (Ed Stoppard). It does not take long for Ariane to succumb to the charm of the young man, but their passionate relationship leads the lovers to a tragic fate.
