Cineplex’s Flashback Film Fest Brings Classics to the Big Screen

Marketed as Canada’s only coast to coast film festival, Cineplex’s Flashback Film Fest is coming back to theatres across the country from February 2 –8. The festival brings classic films to the bring screen and this year’s offerings do not disappoint. Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Terminator, A View to Kill, and Back to the Future are among the films coming to a theatre near you. For the more contemporary film fans, more recent classics cracked the lineup too, including Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg’s Cornetto Trilogy (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World’s End).

Tickets for festival films cost $8.99 per admission (classic films at classic prices!), $7.99 for 3 or more films, or the “Flashback Film Fest” pass, which grants you unlimited access to all films for a price of $5 per admission, or $75 total. Whether the classics have eluded you or it’s time to revisit an old favourite, be sure to check the local listings. The festival hits 27 locations and cities across Canada.
