After about two thirds of Our Last Tango, we’re shown a set of portraits. On the first a young couple during a dance, eyes intensely focused on their other half. Passionate. You can almost hear their breathing. The other group of photos are from an older couple, similar photos, but their eyes are distant. They are avoiding each other. It’s mechanic and angry.
